The rope strap is the point of this one. It hangs openly from a single hook, so the strap becomes part of the composition instead of something to hide.
A mottled metal frame surrounds roughly 50cm of glass, its uneven patina reading closer to aged brass than polished steel.
At 4.1kg it is light enough for a picture hook rated to 5kg. Adjust the drop by moving the hook, not by shortening the strap.
