The silhouette is taken from Ming dynasty jars: a high shoulder, a short neck, and a lid that finishes the line rather than interrupting it.
It stands 32cm on an 18cm base, taller and narrower than the Nanjing ginger jar it shares its decoration with.
Five kilograms with the lid on. Being lidded it is genuinely functional, so it will hold anything you would rather not leave in view.
